Brownie In a Mug!!

Bakers Ahoy!! :)
Today, we are going to bake something that will satisfy those midnight chocolate cravings in less than 5 minutes, and no, I am not joking. This quick and friendly recipe is so yummy and easy, that baking brownies will never be an arduous task again.
Along with being quick, this is kitchen friendly because all you need is a mug. No other vessel except for the measuring spoon/ cup that would be needing. And that means no excessive washing up post the baking! :D Isn't that amazing?!

So lets start with a list of ingredients,

1 small cup of flour.
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
4 tablespoons of either vegetable oil/ melted butter.
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 pinch of baking powder.
4 tablespoons of water
A variety of topping if you want (walnuts/ almonds/ cashews/ chocochips etc)

Procedure
Mix all the ingredients in a microwave safe mug into a smooth consistency, till no lumps remain. the batter must be pasty and a little runny. Not dry.

Microwave the mix for around 1 minute at your microwave's highest setting. My microwaves highest is 900 degrees C. So accordingly, if your microwave has a higher setting, it should take hardly 40 seconds, similarly if your microwave has a lower temperature, it would take around 1 minute 20 seconds.
IMPORTANT- This is NOT a baked brownie. This mix must be microwaved. If you are unsure of how long to bake, check after 40 to 50 seconds, if the top is firm to touch, then your brownie should be ready. Also, if you happen to microwave it for too long, then your brownie will turn out dry and hard, which isn't very pleasant to eat.
The Finished Product :D

The brownie is best enjoyed with two scoops pf vanilla ice cream :D . You can also add whipped cream, chocolate sauce and fresh/ preserved fruits :) Simply dig in and enjoy. You can make these in lots so they serve as individual desserts. Ideal for parties and sit down dinners.

I hope you liked this recipe!! I have got loads of posts coming up. Keep checking in  :)

Until next time,

Cheers!
